I broke part of a tooth and my dentist is only doing an emergency extraction. I don't want a tooth pulled so I needed something to keep food out of the "hole". Unfortunately I just couldn't get it right. I warmed it up but it just wouldn't stick to the tooth. It seemed to me that I could neither eat nor drink with it on my tooth, so I gave up. The tooth doesn't hurt anymore, the hole is still there, but I just have to deal with the hole.
