I bought these to hold a convertible window after welding a 3m weld to reseal it. They really last for hours if need be. I had to get my fingernail under the cup to free it. Notes: 1. They have 3 holes, so you can adjust the holding length from the middle of the cup.2. Be careful, they can be tightened to put a lot of pressure on the connection point. If you are using a product like a 10ft window weld, do not overtighten or you will force the window weld through the convertible top material and then removing the clip will soil the convertible top. Material that is almost impossible to remove. Use the window weld sparingly as it holds very well and only tighten enough to make light contact. You don't have to leave them on too long either, so you can take them off after the window weld has become sticky. If you need to reseal the entire window, you should probably buy two sets.
