They are great for folding roofs!

If the soft top fabric comes off the rear window, it is difficult to glue it. These suction cup clips will hold the fabric to the glass until the double sided tape or glue you used has fully cured. More than 6 is ideal. I made a section of six packs at a time, but if I had to make it again I would buy 12.

Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for older people

Clamp and hold

These suction cups are cool. I bought them to reattach the rear window to my car's convertible top and they did exactly what they were supposed to do. The suction cup sticks to the glass (clean first, some moisture helps here) and the wing nut allows you to tighten the clip to hold the fabric in place while the glue dries. Obviously this item has very limited use, but if you have a situation that calls for a vacuum clamp I can't think of any cons.

The suction power is great and the clamp is hard!

This is a great product that works as advertised. I probably could have used eight instead of six, but six did the job. I've read reviews complaining about some clips not sticking to their window. I had no problems and they worked fine. They clung to the window and stayed the night. They pushed with more force than I expected. Without them I would not have been able to repair the rear window. I repaired the rear window on a 2008 Mustang convertible.

Great functionality for the price

I used a set of 6 to re-tape the window on my 2009 Audi A4 convertible top. They adhere very well to the glass and completely fix the glass while the seal dries and hardens. The wing nut and bolt are a bit cheap but they worked as promised and I had no problems with them. You can use a flat piece of wood or metal under two or more clamps to equalize and distribute the pressure, and you can apply a lot of pressure with these clamps. The price is worth it, they saved me a lot of money on…

Buy these if you need to repair your convertible top window

I recently purchased a second set of these suction cup clips to help with window repairs on our convertible top. This is a must when doing this type of repair as it allows the pressure to spread over the top when trying to glue it back to the back glass. I've tried other top pressure methods but this is by far the easiest way to do it. worth your money! I also removed the suction cups from the "rod" clamp and used the suction cups to hold the driver's window in place when I needed to replace…

  • Unbelievable price

This is necessary to seal the convertible top again!

I bought these to hold a convertible window after welding a 3m weld to reseal it. They really last for hours if need be. I had to get my fingernail under the cup to free it. Notes: 1. They have 3 holes, so you can adjust the holding length from the middle of the cup.2. Be careful, they can be tightened to put a lot of pressure on the connection point. If you are using a product like a 10ft window weld, do not overtighten or you will force the window weld through the convertible top material and

Ideal for convertible glass top!

I used this and Rhino Glue (cyanoacrolate) in a 'brush on' bottle to reglue the glass on my 2010 Mustang GT. The brush in the Rhino glue bottle was very important to apply the liquid glue under the tight spots where the fabric separated from the glass and the thermal tape originally used to attach the glass to the top of the fabric. Just remember to protect the glass with tape (I used clear tape to catch drips of glue) and attach these clips fairly quickly before the glue sets (it's best to do…
