This is one of the best faucets in terms of design and feel. As far as installation goes, it's relatively easy to do. I will say that it needs some tools that are not provided. Delta is usually good at packaging and this is no exception. It's not like the kit doesn't come with everything you need (other than tools) for a swap. One thing you need is plumbing putty. This will help with caulking and you will need this to replace the drain if you wish to do this. It must be sealed to prevent water from flowing down the drain. This came with extra attachments that you can install under the sink to make every start easier. So that you don't feel completely in the dark, there are also instructions for setting up the device. The instructions are very easy to follow. All parts are well made. The washers are metal, so they tighten easily. There is definitely some assembly involved, but everything is pretty much just bolted down. The hardest part will be removing the old faucet as it may have rusted like mine. The knobs move fairly smoothly, so you don't have to put in much effort to turn them. Also, don't be afraid that it will break. Note that water and dirt can collect under the faucet handles, so be sure to clean them from time to time. This is one of those twists that lets you control the temperature and intensity. There's also a red and blue insert to show you which is cold and which is hot. It also covers the screw holes. The swivel mechanism makes a pretty solid impression. I haven't seen any leaks, but be careful when turning. You don't have to twist or apply too much pressure. In terms of installation, I was able to easily connect to my sink without too much trouble. If everything was done according to the instructions (including putty) there were no leaks and no damage to the supplied cables. It's versatile, so it should fit the standard sink opening pretty snugly. It has a bronze look but is definitely not bronze. The pain on them is pretty good. Other than sanding the part, it shouldn't chip or anything like that. This faucet fits very well in my bathroom which I was lucky with. I only needed a sink, which is great. All in all, this is a good faucet. It's strong and well made. It is very easy to install and does not require any additional devices to operate this device. I really like how this faucet looks and feels. Obviously it doesn't come with installation tools. The instructions are quite simple, which makes installation easy. There were no leaks or anything like that, which is a plus.
