I was excited when it arrived. I used a 34 ounce french press to make 12 ounces of brewed cocoa. I hand washed it yesterday and used it today. I found the taste a bit odd. Looking at the press, I saw black grease on the shaft. I put Dawn soap on it and finally took it apart. The photo shows how much fat was in the lid. You might want to do what I did and clean the hole in the lid before using it. Plus, it barely had 10 ounces of water left after adding ground cacao beans.
