I bought two of these drives and one had OS issues a few months ago so I started using the other. Well, the other drive is dead and won't even let you access the files. I called HP and their customer service got so bad they make Dell customer service great. They can't or won't help you and just refer you to other departments or just hang up. Don't rely on them to honor the three-year warranty. They will tell you that you bought from a third party. Now it looks like I'll file a small lawsuit against HP if I can't get anyone at HQ to deliver what they promised. Also, the HP Store isn't HP, so be careful, Amazon was made aware of this yesterday and nothing has changed.
