Review on Armordillo USA 7177215 2007 2018 Silverado by Colin Arcos

This was for a 2013 Tahoe. This was mainly for cosmetic purposes and once installed it looks fine. The brackets are so tight to the frame rails that installing them requires many hammer blows, which is very difficult due to the narrow space under the car. Also, the angle on the frame mounts does not match the angle on the stem mount. This required bending (more hammer blows!) which worked but took longer. I like the bar in general, it's a shame that the manufacturer couldn't put a little more effort into making the product better. I'm used to working with cars and it took about 3 hours to install. If the parts fit better, it would probably take 45 minutes. If I had known this beforehand, I probably would have bought a different product.
