BUY THIS ON AMAZON, NOT A HOUSEKEEPING! Maybe it's just my area, but the same item sells for three times the price of Petco/PetSmart. This item is so convenient. I have a 2.5 liter tank and it's the perfect size. I live in an attic and the stairs are steep so I always have to duck and crouch when walking. Not exactly sustainable for carrying a tank full of water, but my tank always seems dirty for some reason, so I did a full water change. a lot of. This thing is a SAVE. I end up having to suck, which annoys me a bit, but a quick suck sets it off and the tube is long enough that you don't have to worry about swallowing it or anything. Just disinfect it quickly after use so your mouth isn't next to the dirty water. After reading the reviews I expected the water to move very slowly but it emptied my tank pretty quickly. I actually had to stop abruptly because the water was falling so quickly. Make sure your spare water is ready! My fish seemed a little excited but nothing serious and he's not sucking it in. I just place the bucket on the floor under the fish tank which is a lot easier than lugging around a clunky heavy fish tank!
