Love this little siphon! I bought this to clean my 5.5 gallon aquarium and 2.5 gallon shrimp tank and it works great. Vacuums at the right speed to clean without removing too much water. I've also found it's best used for cleaning nooks and crannies around driftwood, rocks, and plants in my 30 and 60 gallon aquariums. Exactly what I needed. I have a 2.5 liter tank and it's just the right size. The suction tube is 6" long plus 1/2" for the lid, so installing it horizontally in the tank to start the siphon wasn't difficult for me. The hose fits snugly into the intake manifold cover and is stiff enough to feel strong yet flexible. It has a moderately slow flow with just enough suction to pull out any debris.
