Better than potholders
Like potholders, these gloves allow you to work with hot objects. But there are better ones because they have five fingers (whereas mittens only have the tip and thumb), making it easier to manipulate objects. Usually potholders are lined, but these gloves are covered with rubber beads. These beads provide better grip and can allow you to work with even hotter items as they don't burn like cloth mittens. These gloves have a tight fit. The only deviation was the pinky, which is longer on the gloves than my real pinky.
