Ideal for soft buttons on my quilted headboard, project
This is a very strong thread that is waxed to be very easy to work with and will hold a knot like steel. I installed 19 3/4" soft buttons through a hard 2" foam core mounted on 3/4" plywood, pulled the buttons over the fabric and sewed into the foam core to a depth of 1" and knotted then thread the back of the plywood with staples and then tie the ends with knots. Waxed thread is easy to hold with fingers and tools and won't slip under staples or knots.
