In 2022, two of these disks were taken from some location. I stored them in RAID 0 when I was younger since it is efficient, trendy, and so on. After having been used for two years, the first disk showed signs of failing (accurately after the end of the warranty). We were finally successful in extracting the data from the array. The second one toppled over not too long ago, when it was seven years old. When you hear noise, know that this is quite typical for an HDD. This noise can be readily eliminated by utilizing a reference video card or a boxed cooler. I was under the impression that the joke on the termination of work immediately following the expiration of the warranty period only applied to washing machines and other types of domestic equipment, and not to a data storage device. The first hard disk drives that anyone can remember driving off into another universe did so not as a result of being dropped on the floor or anything else, but rather as a result of regular use. As a replacement, I've decided to use a Seagate 7E8; at least they provide a longer guarantee, so we'll see how it works out.
