I recently bought my first house and it came with 3 old disgusting smoke alarms. 1980s white aka yellow! 4 for $35 is an amazing price! I replaced a nasty 3 and added one to my 3 year old's room. They are so simple and elegant that they match most of our contemporary finishes. You can see in my photo how good they look compared to the old ones. Instructions are clear and installation was quick! Installed all 4 in 20 minutes. This also includes testing and unpacking the supplied batteries!
