The mount fits my Asus TF700T (10 inch) tablet well. The tablet is the maximum width it can take with the end mounts, it rubs on both ends as it goes into the mount. I use it mounted on my dash to hold the tablet as an off-road GPS. I'm a cross country jumper and with my tablet in this holder I have no reason to worry. I think it's endless but that's another story so remember they help. I have two criticisms of the product though. First, it seems a bit cheap when you get it. I've been very happy with all the other RAM Mount products I've tried, so I was surprised that it seemed a bit cheap. This is made worse by the fact that you have to add end arms if you want to use them. I see that some people might not want them, which is why they didn't install them at the factory, but the process of installing them will take a few minutes to sort them out. Finally, the springs inside sometimes find their vibrational harmony when I'm driving, and therefore emit a slight ringing sound. This can be alleviated by having a small foam pad inside depressing part of the spring (e.g. by raising the natural frequency beyond the entrance area of a car dashboard). It's a small thing, but I'm deducting a star for that. Bottom line, the tablet holds the tablet well in the car on bumpy rides and I'd recommend it to a friend, but it's not perfect.
