I am writing this review after testing on 4 different cars of different ages from 1 to 20 years. All in all a solid tester. It can be used for batteries inside and outside the car, it checks 3 different battery types and performs 4 different tests before pronouncing a car good or bad. It will check if your starter and alternator are bad, although not one in four cars has bad starters or alternators, so I can't tell you how accurate that is. Two tests will ask you to rev the engine, which worked on older cars. The newer tester couldn't tell that you were revving the engine (because alternators are a bit smarter these days I suppose) and helpfully asked you to press enter when you started the engine. He confirmed that 3 batteries had no problems (that's true because the batteries were relatively new), the fourth just indicated that the battery needed charging. Which was true. Tests run in less than 3 minutes. I haven't tested it with a known bad battery, and I haven't tested the bluetooth printing option. There are a few typos in the firmware, but they don't interfere with use and aren't interesting enough to remember.
