I bought a California king size blanket. Terrible ceiling. After reading the care instructions, I washed it in cold water and dried it on a gentle cycle. My 102" x 108" duvet shrank 12" on one side and 8" on the other. Now this blanket is 90 x 100 inches and I'm afraid if I wash it again it will just keep shrinking. I also expected it to be softer than any other cotton blanket I've ever bought, but it's still very scratchy and uncomfortable to the touch. I would not recommend this blanket. Please note that when you purchase you may not get one that actually fits a California king size bed.
