This switch worked electrically but had to fiddle with the key for a while to insert it. After the key is inserted, it has a very strong spring for the home position. You really need to mount it securely so it doesn't rotate in the dash. This may work easier if I use it. Low price and it works, but it's not easy.

I lost the key to my Massey Ferguson 3625 tractor and was hoping to find a working key without having to go to the dealer. This key fits and works perfectly. Now I have a spare key and a spare tire for my tractor. Delivered to my house in about 4 days and for less than $7. Great offer.

Tractor ignition. I was emailed that the original order was sent ie two switches. Then I got an email that my order was cancelled. I called Amazon to find out why it was canceled after shipping. No idea. So I placed the order again and now I have four switches? . But it looks like the original and works perfectly.

My husband has a David Brown 880A tractor and needs a new ignition switch. If you remove the old ignition switch, be sure to check the pins/blades. And what are their numbers? Our old ignition switch only had one wide pin and it was in the #1 position. The new ignition switch also had a wide pin/pin in position #3.

This unit was solid and reliable. I bought the first one and its performance was enough to keep buying and installing them. So far I have one in my 1952 Ford 8N and also in my 640. Although the switch has a circuit to energize the starter solenoid I have not used it. Bypassing the original starter safety switch on these tractors is a huge mistake. It prevents the tractor from starting when a gear is engaged. But as an ignition generator it works perfectly. I will install them on my garden…
