    Good but not 12g/30amp

    I bought these to add some circuitry to an older car. Each circuit was 10 amps max and the fuses are under the hood but in a weatherproof location. The fuse holders themselves appear to be fairly solid, but the wire appears to be "copper plated" rather than solid stranded copper. The fuse holder cover fits snugly enough to stay on, but seems far from waterproof. Possibly waterproof at best. However, I don't expect these fuses to be exposed to moisture, so they will work very well for my needs…

    Adequate but not the highest quality

    That's probably good if you want to save your money and use it in a dry environment. Rubber fuse caps do not provide a tight watertight seal. The electrical connection to the blades on the fuse is VERY tight, it takes a lot of force to insert the fuse and you need pliers to remove the fuse. I am not satisfied with either the cable or the insulation. The wire is not tinned, and when I cut the wire down the middle and stripped the insulation to attach the ferrule, signs of oxidation appeared on…

    Pretty good product, solid copper, thick insulation, good fuse compatibility

    The reddish but transparent (see through) insulating plastic put me off at first, it feels a bit compared to the nicer flexible silicone coated wire cheap on. I'm taking off a star because I can't tell how the insulation holds up compared to the more expensive flexible silicone. But the insulating plastic is very thick and similar to cheap wire, only slightly transparent. The copper wire is quite heavy and I stripped it with #12 AWG wire and lost a few strands, so it's a little over 12 gauge…

    Inexpensive solution for fuse holder

    Maybe ten packs of fuse holders weren't needed, but the unit price was so low I couldn't resist. This is a good option if you need a built in fuse holder for a standard blade fuse. The securing slots slide over the terminals. Because they crimp the terminals on the ends of the wire and then mold the plastic around the terminals, the terminal holes for the fuse blades are slightly offset (not in a straight line) since they only use left or right hand crimp terminals.     Quality product, great price!

    As others have complained, the fuses are difficult to insert. As the song says, "You'll need a little patience." back and forth one at a time, being careful as you do so. It'll take a minute, but everything will be fine. I'd rather it be nice and tight than just fall out, right? If you're really impatient, you can just stick a small flathead screwdriver inside.     NOT 10 Gauge!: Lighting & Electrical

    B01DYPY0E4 I have now purchased "10 Pack - EPAuto 12V-DC ATC/ATO 12 AWG In-Line 30A Fuse Holder", both from "EPFamily Direct" sold. My first picture shows that the stranded wire is only 2.44mm in diameter which puts it closer to 13 gauge, a similar 10 gauge stranded wire is 3.3mm in diameter. My second photo has 105 strands of 34 gauge wire, making my purchase a 13 gauge wire. This is about the 7th time I've encountered this problem when trying to find stranded wire that is even close to 10…
