I was surprised at how light and thin this scarf was when I received it. I checked the small piece of fabric that came with it to make sure it was as advertised. I wasn't sure what to expect from a scarf but I took the risk anyway. Doesn't itch like wool. I tried to cut out the extra footage that was sent along to try it out. It didn't cut. I tried to pierce it but I could only pierce the material with the tip of a knife. I tried setting it on fire with "plasma" light and only managed to burn small holes in the material. I've tried it as a makeshift rain hood, a face mask for the run to the grocery store, and a belt for a dress (because I was curious) in addition to its intended purpose, and in each case I've been pleased with its performance. I've been using it every day at work since I got it and I'm very happy with it.
