The product itself is very good quality, but I had to return because the picture didn’t really show the color very well, and I ordered the medium chestnut brown because it looked like it had the undertones of gold that I needed to match my hair, but when I received it, it had a ton of red undertones, which I don’t have. I ordered just brown this time to see if it’s closer. If it hadn’t been for the color issue, I would have given this 5 stars, because it is excellent quality.

I have a tough to match hair color (blackberry) and really wanted a bun hair piece to match my color. I bought one of these in a dark blonde/light brown color and had my hairdresser color it. It turned out GREAT! It took the color very well and came through the process looking shiny and beautiful. If you are wondering if you can dye these, you definitely can!

Human hairpieces are expensive, so it wouldn't be fair to expect a super high end hairpiece for this price. The bun is OK; not amazing and not terrible. It would have been fine if the color were a better match. I know there has been some variability in the reviews regarding the texture. My bun had straight hair, not curls, but that was fine for me. I am returning it, but that is due to the color. The #18 blond was more of a light brown to auburn color.

Felt compelled to say how awesome these are. I bought two colors to match my hombre colored hair. Gorgeous. I recommend putting hair up in regular pony first then top with hair bun.

I would like to have it bigger , more thicke. But it’s very soft and of course it’s nice to have natural hair instead of synthetic, I am just thinking about buying me another one bf for more volume, I use it around my pony tail on the top or bottom of my head

I found the hair isn’t sewn in as well as other 100% human hair items I have. It’s definitely human hair and you can dye darker but I don’t think this will last very long at all with how poorly the stitching is and seems to have less hair than I expected. I have another that’s double weft and has so much more hair.

Color was accurate. I made it slightly darker using hair dye I used on my own hair. It was soo tangled afterwards, it seemed like horrible mistake. I was able to brush it and get it back to original shape.I wish FRESHFEN made more 100% human hair extensions.

Elastic band came apart on second use. The hair is still in tact, but it has lost its "scrunch”. HOWEVER, I ordered it again because the hair quality is superb. This piece is expensive, so I am working with the "unscrunched” one. I simply wrap it around my bun until all the slack disappears. So.the point of my story? If you buy one and it does the same thing as mine - you can still use it. I would appreciate if the company would give me a break on my repurchase.

I have super thin hair. This looks so natural and easy to use. I like that it doesn't have the synthetic fake hair look. This is great. I can pull my hair up quickly when I dont have time to wash, dry and flat iron my hair and I dont look like a homeless person.Make sure you keep it from staying twisted or the hair will crease weird. Use a couple of bobby pins and you can make a sleek bun too.

This hair bun extension matched my hair color so well and looked so real that even my own children (ages 14, 12, and 10) didn’t realize it was "fake” until I told them—-even though it added significant volume to the bun of my very thin, shoulder-length hair!
