Heat Shield is good for engine parts

Anyone who ever designed a heat shield on these brackets needs a beating. This is the reason for 2 stars. As for the quality of attachment, in general, everything is well done.

You get what you pay for

The heat shield makes the job harder than it needs to be. The heat shield needs to be modified so that the bolts on the top two mounting bolts on the engine side can be tightened.

Excellent price. in parts

Bought for my 2010 Chevy Silverado Z71. Had to change the top holes of the engine mount heat shield. The screws were not aligned to expose the edges of the heat shield. A little difficult to install. It worked great. Great price. Arrived next day. Thanks.

The heat shield didn't line up with the screw holes, which was rather a hassle.

I only give 4 stars because of a defective heat shield. I hope not everyone has this problem. It's a good motor mount overall, but this one had issues with the heat shield not lining up with the bolt access holes, making it a lot more difficult than it should have been.

Rigid installation - engine mount

price was good material "looks good" screams over time. What was really awful was the holes in the heat shield on this part, they are NOT factory fitted and let me tell you. It was a disaster to discover this halfway through the installation. Basically, you need to completely remove the protective cover for this installation to go smoothly. Personally, I don't know how this affects the life of the part.
