While looking for a replacement fuel filter I came across this one. do i need 2 no Were they cheaper than buying 1 at the store and do they fit and work perfectly on my 2004 Honda Shadow Saber?

Both Leaky metal crimp

It's good that I started the engine before assembling my Goldwing. Constantly flowing from the first filter, then from the second. I had to spend $23 on an OEM at the dealer, but at least it didn't leak.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Looks just like the original

Arrived quickly. Great price for two packs. The filters that come in look exactly like the ones they replace. So I'm not sure there's much to say about the fuel filter. Aside from cutting one of them and running lab filtration tests, they seem to fit the bill.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Perfect for my 2006 Honda Shadow 750 VT750C

Looks like a direct replacement for a genuine Honda fuel filter. Exactly the same as my 2006 Shadow 750. Couldn't tell the original from this one. It's possible the filters I replaced were aftermarket since I've used the bike, but I don't think so.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsafe

Perfect replacement for stock filter

I bought a used Shadow ACE 2002 a while ago. The bike was in good condition but had been in storage for a few years. The fuel filter looked like it was an OEM part that was installed on the bike over 18 years ago. It came with no problems and works great. That's 2 packs for about half the price of an OEM filter.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Triple check!

This filter was advertised to be used with my ZX-6R and although I wanted both ends to be 3/8" (like this filter) it was too long and the Fuel didn't go into the filter at a 90 degree angle like the standard so I had to modify the line to the fuel pump and I made it work with a smooth curve from the tank to the filter. After my bike sat in the sun all day, that gentle curve turned into a kink that left my engine running dry once I hit 85mph on the freeway (I might add that it was quite an…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance
