This is the same brand and specific formula for a long time. My dog loves this food and I know a lot about Royal Canin and they are a quality manufacturer with high standards. We used this dog food for a few months because it's what or dog's Foster mom fed her. It wasn't terrible, but it's very expensive, and we recently switched brands because or dog would consistently have softer stools with this food. The new food is less expensive, the dog seems to like it better, and she now has normal, firm stools.

Our dog doesn't have the most sensitive stomach, but we notice when she's been eating other dog food. This seems to be great quality food, our vet recommended it.

In just a week, I have noticed an ENORMOUS difference in my dog's coat. It has always been soft, but now it is shiny and silky! Before, with her old food, she never really got excited to eat in the morning and some days wouldn't eat more than half a cup out of the 1 1/2 she gets each day. But now. she is SO excited in the morning to eat her food, and she eats it all in one go. I am so very happy with this product, that it is not even funny.Oh, and the bag its in is resealable! +++

Was looking for a high quality food for my dog. Went through two 30 lbs bags and started a third before switching to Wag. My dog never adjusted to this. Picking up after him was disgusting. Constant soft or liquid stools. Had the vet check for giardia. He was negative. Since the change he’s back to normal.

You know how you can never get a Vet to recommend a brand of food? ! My husky started as a puppy on it, and we switched to some others [taste of the wild being the most successful, and then asked a Vet friend, who off the record said- says this is the only brand she feeds HER dog! The package had an excellent sell by date [later than my local feed store]. Not any cheaper, but very fresh, and came promptly, and was very convenient. My dog has been on this food for all 8 years of her life and she’s relatively healthy. As far as I know- no recalls. Value on Revain is good. I’m rating it lower because while I wasn’t paying attention, this food seems to have gone downhill. It’s no longer rated very highly and the rescue organization I volunteer with will not use this food for our foster pups. I was confident in this food, but would suggest you look into it. This is a fantastic product and priced fairly too.My only complaint is that the last couple times, the large boxed bag has had box cutter holes in the bag which I believe degrades the freshness. Hoping his report will get back to the person(s) responsible for managing quality control.
