Good portable solar panel

Fair price and beautiful workmanship. It's hard to find a folding panel like this and I would buy two more if I could afford them.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Lightweight, easy to use.

Bought this pad to charge my EMCOMM radio with a 12v 35ah battery. I bought an adapter cable to go from the charge controller output to the Anderson Powerpole connectors for the battery. It folds into a small package that fits in an EMCOMM box. I chose this panel because of the 12V DC output which other panels didn't have. Works great so far.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Older model

Has the best battery clips in solar panels

The main benefit for me was the fact that I didn't have to buy any special adapters to connect this solar panel to my boat's trolling motor battery. This is a 55 pound deadlift. trolling motor on my small boat and if I hook it directly to the battery (using clamps like the jump starter that comes with this product) I can cruise all day. Normally I could only drive about 2 hours and kill the battery. With that I can increase to about 5-6 hours or so. After that I had to give the battery a break.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not sure
