Red Hound Auto rear upper shock mount bracket. Fits either shock on rear axle Compatible with Chevy/GMC: 99-06 Silverado 1500 / 99-06 Sierra 1500; includes 2007 Classic body; excludes older C/K series. Note: Only for 1500 1/2 ton trucks that have round tubular frame stiffening crossmember; not made for 2500/3500. Manufactured using custom fit template, offering perfect angle alignment on cross member. Made from 11 Gauge Steel; bolt hole is drilled to 13mm to allow for 12mm bolt; can be expanded with 15mm drill bit to accomodate 14mm OE bolt.

Not worth the money - Avoid

Automotive enthusiasts be warned. As a result of using this product, I found that the crossmember was not a PERFECT fit and caused more trouble than what it was worth. The main issue was the flimsy material used, which caused an immense amount of shakes and rattles- making my driving experience a nightmare. The only pro is that it is cheaper than other brands. unfortunately, the cons heavily outway the pros. Avoid this product at all costs..

Flimsy junk, avoid at all costs

When I tried this product, it was flimsy and barely held up .Definitely not compatible with my vehicle's suspension.. That's my feedback.

2006 Chevy Silverado

I purchased this product to use as the upper rear shock absorber on the driver's side of a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 hd. This is a very useful mount, I think it would be better if it was made of a slightly thicker material. It will definitely work, the question is how long will it last?
