Does the Job good for me

Am pleasantly surprised just how quiet the fans are. Have been running 24/7 for the past 3 days. Less noisy than the original kit supplied. When I first installed the fan in the Pi case I thought it wasn't working it was so quiet. Only time will tell if this continues but so far so good as the original fan which came with the case lasted reasonably quietly for about 4 months then got annoying so I replaced it with this one.

Pros
  • I made some raspberry pi boxes and these fans fit well. They are quiet and don't cause any issue.
Cons
  • Seems to cool down my raspberry pie. A little noisy but not much

It cools well and doesn't make much noise

This fan replaced a noisy fan on a Raspberry Pi 4. It doesn't cool as well as the noisy fan that came with the Devsolution case but it is well worth a few extra degrees C instead of listening an insanely loud fan. What a racket. This one is real quite. I recommend it.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The inclusion of only two fans may limit the potential cooling power in larger projects

Very quiet! Flow rate is what you would expect.

These fans are extremely quiet. The flow rate is what you would expect from a 5v, 30mm fan. I used one as a supplement to the heat sinks on my Raspberry Pi 4. I had to build a custom mount, but it was worth the effort for a silent cooling solution.

Pros
  • Used in electronic project and worked perfectly.
Cons
  • The packaging for these fans may be excessive and wasteful

Rubbish buy something else

The fan was quiet for the first week and then the noise level day by day increased. Now less than two months later it stops now and then, it needs to be replaced. These are absolute rubbish. Stay away from these.

Pros
  • Only in compete silence can I hear a small buzz at 5 feet. Good product!
Cons
  • Died after 5 mins

Nearly silent @ 3.3V

No idea how long these will last but I am running these at 3.3V and there's virtually no noise and my Pi is much happier. The only downside is the connectors are so tall that they stick through the top of the case.

Pros
  • Very flimsy, but still very functional
Cons
  • The cost of these fans may be higher than comparable alternatives in the market

First one failed after just two weeks

It started out well. It was quiet and moved enough air for the Raspberry Pi 4B that I had it installed on but it failed after just two weeks as it started squealing. I didn't even bother installing the second one. I 3D printed a 30mm to 40mm adapter and used a quality Noctura fan. These are junk IMHO.

Pros
  • Internal Components
Cons
  • The size and weight of these fans may require additional support and hardware for installation

Smaller than most pi case fans

I bought this fan as a replacement for the fan in my Pi case. I was very surprised to see it is much smaller than the old fan which means it did not fit in the same mounting holes. This is why I can only give 4 stars instead of 5. But I agree with the other comments that the fan is pretty quiet.

Pros
  • Easy to install ok price
Cons
  • These fans may not be suitable for outdoor or rugged environments due to their delicate construction

It works with the Canakit Case

My Canakit did not come with a fan. It was like a basic edition. I wanted a fan, and so I bought this. I thought I’d have to saw off pieces of the case but it fit right in. I could connect to the gpio pins easily. I’m so happy.

Pros
  • Plugged into the 3.3 volt plug and it's nice and quiet.
Cons
  • The quality and durability of the fans may be questionable after consistent use over time

Cheap and does the job

Small and pretty powerful, even at 3.3v instead of 5v. I use these mainly to cool a couple raspberry pi’s and they do the job well.5v setting is pretty loud though, unless you really need the additional airflow I’d recommend 3.3v.

Pros
  • Good for what I needed
Cons
  • Doesn't Move Air. Fan is drawing 60mA @ 5V but is labeled 200mA. Being returned!

DO NOT BUY, these fans provide no airflow!

Even running on 5V there is no measurable air flow, not a single degree temperature drop after installing the fan on the heatsink. Tried both fans on two Pi boards with the same results.I was not able to feel any airflow with my hands on either of the included fans.

Pros
  • They are quiet and work well. However they move less air than other fans.
Cons
  • They spin, just barely though. With 4 volts of power they barely spin and move zero air.

Mini Brushless fan for my opinion

This is a mini fan its brushless and is noiseless , I got it to coll a Samsung TV. Since it needs 5 volts it runs off the TV USB connector. You cannot reverse polarity in this unit. To change direction of flow you have to change the direction of the unit.

Pros
  • Add described
Cons
  • The fans may not provide sufficient cooling for certain high-performance projects
