It works but it's basicly two tubes connected by end electronics. There is no protective sheath around the lights. I would use it only in area where it's unlikely to be hit. The attaching hardware is flimsy also. I tried to mount ti to dry wall but the clips are flimsy and I didn't feel it was stable. I have been using shop lights and this is by far the best. I have used the best shop lights that almost all of the box stores have to offer. This light is so bright even my wife was impressed, she said she couldn’t believe how bright this light is. We have chickens and I noticed them eating food that they were leaving. I got these to replace a couple of LED shop lights in my garage that started to flicker. They went up in place and were form, fit, function identical. Was is different is how much brighter these are! Noticeably more lumens and they are 'whiter' than the lights they replaced. Both are supposed to be 5000k. So far, so good! Time will tell about the longevity of the lights. Great product for the money.

Great illumination at a good price.The only minor complaint is that the lights are very fiddly to put up without the chains detaching themselves. Once installed they seem fairly sturdy, but I’m not sure how these would fare in an earthquake.

These are not the types of lights you want to use if you have young kids in your basement or garage. The is no metal shield like mostbhave it's the ballast and light tubes that's it so if you are okay with that then These are definitely bright enough. I would buy them again if I had a safe place to put them.

bought two of these, and after about 30 days one of them has a side burnt out, they just hang in the garage, not even touched, to bad, they seemed nice, but to much money for a short life

I have a single car garage/workshop and one set of these lights was enough to make it daylight bright in there. Nice and light and runs cool.

This is a good product.These are not fun to instal, overhead work is not fun.The lights are bright and will probably give us years of good service.
