This tape is OK. Not as good as a UL 181 tape that costs $17 a roll or as good as a mastic tape that costs $24 a roll.If I had to do this over I would spring for the mastic tape. I read some HVAC guys who will only use the mastic tape because the others eventually peel off over many years. I found this on my duct work that is 20 years old. Not all the $12 tape was peeling. Maybe 25 %. Use the mastic tape.

I bought this to help seal the openings for a faraday cage and it works incredibly well. Even on the hinges. I highly recommend this product.

I just had my heating and air conditioning system replaced and one of the technicians was using this type of tape where the ductwork connects to the heater and cooling system so I checked it out on Best Buy and it was a great find and am very happy i was able to get it and really brightens up the area also,Great tape and a great find.

I used it in a shed in Texas. Texas sun and heat is brutal and the heavy duty duct tape was ungluing. This works better, but I still have to re tape it every now and then.

It's good my uncle stated because he felt it would not hold up to 600 degree heat it would work. But I would have say that it works but older people it they don't read it.

I've used a few different brands of foil tape and this stuff is the best I've found. It is nice and strong while being pliable enough to get into tight spaces and around corners. I'll continue to order this on Best Buy rather than take a risk and get something of lesser quality at the hardware store.

Live in 120 year old home which had copper tubing. Put in new shower this year and water company called and said we were using about 10 gallons of water hourly throughout the day . Bought this tape to cover a gap around my in wall AC. Love that it rips like masking tape (no scissors needed). Has stayed in place so far. I recently used it to cover the window edges to keep the ants out that made their way in through the screen and it works!

Super adhesion - there were some surfaces I wasn't able to clean effectively on my HVAC and this tape pretty much adhered to every dirty surface with no problem.Feels, looks, and seems like a very high quality product. The test if time will tell.I'm very pleased.

I like that this HVAC tape has a lot on the roll, and has a great backing material giving it an easy to use from the roll feel. I used this tape to seal joints in some 2 inch foam board insulation. This foamboard already has a moisture barrier sheeting on it, and this tape sticks to that very very well providing a secure bond and removing any areas where air might leak through. Only thing I didn’t like about it was the clear tape they used to hold the end of the roll. Could have used less adhesive tape. Couldn’t get it off, go figure. Other than that the tape met my satisfaction.

I'm ordering a second roll to have on hand. I made two faraday cages using Bereans cans and wrapped my most important items in faraday cloth with this tape.
