These work! on my review.

These connectors work and are less pricey than the 3M brand. I purchased them for use with my Automower perimeter wire loop.

Pros
  • Did the job
Cons
  • Could become brittle and break over time

Works perfectly with Landroid wire

These arrived with the goo leaked out all over the inside of the bag. And a couple were already pushed in, rendering them useless. But I needed them to fix cuts in my Landroid wire so I used them, and they worked like a charm! I was impressed by the fact that once I clamped them closed with pliers, more goo came out of the holes, sealing them perfectly. I am a happy customer and would buy these again. I assume the clear "goo" is a Vaseline-like petrolatum grease that'll keep the holes and wires

Pros
  • Easy to use and works well
Cons
  • May not work as well with irregularly-shaped wires

great connectors best in my review

Design was used by many repairmen for various transmission lines like telephone pedestals one sees along roads. A telephone repairman gave me a handful over 20 yrs ago and i was sold on the simplicity. You do not need wire strippers. One pair of lineman pliers will do it. They are great in emergencies and also for just normal wire connections. No need to strip wire, once done silicon squeezes out and seals. Depends on location of connections but if one has the room they are great, last better…

Pros
  • Use for the robotic mower. Easy to use
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in high-temperature environments

Can get them to work

Many of the pieces come apart in the bag leaving the silicone all over the place. So far they have worked with connections but very messy.

Pros
  • No complaints.
Cons
  • May not provide a secure enough connection for heavy-duty electric applications

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to install once you learn how to do it.

I think these are a bit overpriced, but once I learned the best way to use them, they are much better then my old way of splicing wire. And, although it is difficult, they can be reopened and reused when needed.

Pros
  • Love the ease of using them on my celinoid boxes on my sprinkler system
Cons
  • May not provide enough insulation for certain industrial applications

Works like a charm on my review.

Used it to connect wires from my landroid. Works like a charm. Put two wires into the connector. Make sure to squeeze the heck out of it to make sure you have a tight connection. A good amount of goo should come out.

Pros
  • I have used 3m type, these are just as goon but cheaper.
Cons
  • May not work well with older electrical systems

best irrigation wire connectors ever

There is an extensive irrigation system on my property, in excess of 36 sprinkler valves. I have used wire nuts and other brands of blade connectors. These have the best price point of any of the other blade style I have purchased. They are very easy to use with irrigation wire 18-22 gauge. I do not have any experience with larger wire. Also, be aware that there are only 3 ports if you are in the habit of gang wiring the common. The completed connection will withstand a very strong pull, unlike

Pros
  • Saved the day splicing the cut 18 gauge lawn robot cable…
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with aluminum or other non-copper wire types

Work as well as the name brand

Was worried that these would be inferior to the 3M version. So far, they worked identically when replacing electric brake wiring on a travel trailer. Easy to use for up to a three wire splice.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • Could cause unforeseen problems if installed improperly

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple to use for my automower boundary and guide wires.

The three way crimp has grease packed in them and squeeze over the wires connecting them very easily. I like that you can see that the wires are all the way in so that when you crimp you don't waste one by a wire not being all the way in.

Pros
  • Very easy and worked like a charm. Used it to splice together the invisible fence wire for an automower.
Cons
  • Could be difficult to remove once installed

Working just fine a year out.

So, I got these for landscape lighting. It worked well with both the smaller wiring on the light fixtures, as well as the main wiring. With the main wiring I trimmed the circumference just a bit to fit easily into the connector. It's been about a year since I set up the wiring with thee connectors, and -0- fails. Recently I added a few lights, and bought some more. Great product.

Pros
  • These have performed perfectly for a year in the ground.Easy to use and great value.
Cons
  • May require additional protective measures to prevent wire corrosion

Best connectors I’ve found

These are the best connectors to use for broken wires for my Husqvarna Automower. They are a little tough to compress so I use a pair of pliers.

Pros
  • Makes a nice secure connection when used properly.
Cons
  • Requires effort to prepare the cables before crimping

Did not work for my opinion

Bought to rewire my boat trailer. After I finished, none of the lights worked. I had to cut all of these connectors out and use a different splice. Once all of these were replaced, all lights worked. I would suggest a different connector and save yourself some time and money.

Pros
  • Seem to work as well as the ones that came with it
Cons
  • Could be easily misplaced due to their small size

Ok for landscape lights

If you're going to use these for landscape lights and you use 14G wire then you're going to have to shave the wire insulation down to get these to work. Once I did that it worked fine.

Pros
  • easy use wire connectors
Cons
  • Requires a certain level of electrical knowledge to install properly

Not for outdoor 14 awg wire e.g. landscape lights

Description says will work for 14 awg and gave some examples of outdoor applications. Apparently the insulation on the 14 awg wire used for landscape lighting (purchased from Home Depot) is too thick. Will be returning. Product came in a clear bag. Appeared to be in good shape.

Pros
  • Very similar to the ones that come with install kits
Cons
  • Sold in packs of 20, which may be too many or too few for certain projects

Good replacement: my feedback

I got these to have handy for replacement. They seem a proper replacement for the oem ones I got. Good fit for purpose. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Worked well
Cons
  • Could take up more space in wiring compartments due to their size

Only 13 in pack. I didn't order a used/open pack. I ordered a new one. Opened package received.I'm going to message seller and see what happens, lower Stars initially for sending me less quantity than ordered.Otherwise these seem the same quality as 3M or similar quality as 3M version. The plastic is translucent enough to see wires reach the end to ensure you have enough wire before you crimp.Update: they corrected the issue. Sent out a complete set. I did have to return first package.

Pros
  • They do what there supposed to do. Easy to use and just as good as some more expensive couplers .
Cons
  • Could be difficult to install in hard-to-reach areas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quick easy splice good for me

Installation: very easy if wires are the same gauge; slightly harder if different. No need to strip wires before splicing. Works as advertised

Pros
  • Great product, nice design
Cons
  • May not work as well with thicker gauge wires

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Grease leaked out of connectors before arrival.

I needed a few of these for my robot lawnmower I thought I would save myself some money over the 3M. Arrived in the mail with all the grease leaked out of them all over the bag. Even the plastic and metal feels inferior. No way would I recommend using these especially in a wet/harsh environment unless you want frustrating issues in the future. Picture next to 3M on the right. Will be returning. Spend the extra and buy quality.

Pros
  • Works as expected
Cons
  • May not be available in all regions or countries

Great value good for me

Finish is slightly lower than the ones with a company logo on them, but these work great. I needed to connect 14 and 18/20 gauge wires together on an aftermarket fuel gauge replacement, and these worked very well. The price was so good compared to the ones with the logo that I didn't even get upset when I had to cut two off and throw them out because I'd connected the wrong wires together.

Pros
  • I recommend this connector for use in damp areas for the uses the manufacture rates it at.
Cons
  • May be more difficult to crimp than other wire connector options
