Description of ๐Ÿš— ENA A5365HY Front Engine Motor Mount Replacement for Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, Avalanche, Tahoe, Yukon, Sierra XL

engine mounts undergo extensive lab and vehicle fitment testing. Highest quality materials are utilized along with stringent quality control standards to meet or exceed OE specifications. The rubber material is manufactured to specific Durometer (hardness) measurements based on the vehicle's application requirements. All parts are tested throughout the manufacturing process to ensure proper management of engine torque and dampening of excess noise and vibration. Worn or broken engine mounts place added strain upon the transmission mount, which can lead to misalignment of the driveshaft which can cause the transmission mount and/or the universal joints to prematurely fail. 1 Year Limited Warranty - Please use Amazon's Your Garage feature above to see if this part is compatible with your vehicle.

VERY IMPORTANT. CONNECT THE STEERING WHEEL FIRST.

I don't like the heat shield but I know you must have one or else the rubber on the exhaust manifold will melt. The screen covers the four top mounting bolts, making it difficult to work with. The mount looks high quality. It is very important to tie down the steering wheel if you plan to remove the steering shaft to access the bracket. Also mark the shaft before removing it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Can't remember

It works exactly as advertised and is inexpensive.

This is my second replacement on one of our cars. This time it was my son's Tahoe 4wd and it was very difficult to install. Ask for help or pay your mechanic to install it and enjoy your 12 hours without breaking your knuckles. If you're mechanical and want to give it a try, brace yourself for a frustrating 10-12 hour job. They will be under the hood and under the car at least 20 times each.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great price, fast delivery with some mods.

I just installed it, it fits well on the nut, the heat shield lets you vent. This means that the through holes do not leave enough room for mounting screws in the block. My solution was to grind the holes so the bolts had enough clearance to fit the block. This did not interfere in any way, it just made it easier to install fasteners on the part. I also had to bend the shield to give it more room to fit between the frame and the motor. Again, nothing to compromise structural integrity, justโ€ฆ

Decent motor mount for the price

This mount is a stock replacement. It comes with a metal heat shield like the OEM. Some brands don't, so I went with these. I didn't want to pay double the price for a factory mount. The installation was a bit of a hassle as I did it in a driveway and without an engine jack. The holder is firm in the hand, but is a bit soft when installed. When starting the engine, the rubber flexes more than the factory mount if it was in good condition. I read that the factory mount was a hydraulic block, but

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Minor issues

Perfect for spares

So I'm the OEM guy. I have a Chevy Tahoe and I used to work in the service department of a Chevy dealership. So I always stick with AcDelco because it's the best, and why would I buy a part that will make you want to use that job again in a few months? That being said, I couldn't justify paying $100 for an Acdelco motor mount when they cost a little over $30! And great reviews! It was so cheap and sounded great. So I dared. This is hard work. I fix everything myself, I'm not an ASE technicianโ€ฆ
