The case and key itself was usable but the remote function programming chip was not a suitable chip. So we couldn't program the remote to work with the car.

I bought these for a 2009 Toyota Avalon, I programmed the remotes without tools, but for the chip in the key I bought a (G)chip programmer here at Revain about 30 dollars. and it worked. I had the keys cut by the dealer for $0. Great offer.
