Every once in a while I run across a designer item. Finding this set of 36 watercolor set from MIYA, happens to be one that will impress. The layout of the pans are diamond shape. Yep, diamond shape. Hard to explain but a clever, unique display.On testing the pigments, I selected several weights of watercolor papers. These are a great beginning to student grade set of watercolor paints. They're very vivid lot of nice colors to choose from. The pigmentation is okay not the best but it's it's good. Great for practicing water coloring techniques as well as for adult coloring pages backgrounds. I like the shape it almost looks like fish scales the diamonds it's a unique shape for watercolors and fun.

I got this set because I was drawn to several of the bright, luscious-looking colors that pop up here and there in this box. And I know it is a relatively inexpensive set, so I've not been disappointed.
