I got the standard size 24 with my pump and used them for the first month of exclusive pumping. I noticed it was pulling my areola into it and creating bumps around my nipple. It wasn't super painful, but it was uncomfortable. I had read in the first week that the size matters but I disregarded it and sucked it up. These are garbage. Medela apparently doesn’t carry 19mm. So I ordered these. You have to mess around with these just to get the nipsIn the right place for it to get proper suction. For these to work sufficiently, you have to have CONE SHAPED BOOBS for it to work. But anyone that is pumping Is probably full of milk and they are more round. You can’t return, replace, OR get a refund. Don’t waste your money.

I decided to give these a try and they're quite nice. I like them better than the Medela flanges. I only had minor amounts of milk trapped under the silicone pieces. I feel like these give a better suction.

My pumping supply has increased drastically since buying these smaller flanges. FYI: I’m a big busted woman (42H to be exact) but I have tiny nipples. Large breast DO NOT equal large flanges. Do the research, get the measurements and find the products that work for you

The shape of this flange is to conical for my breast, so I have to hold it right on my breast while pumping with a hands-free pumping bra. This is not the case with their competitor (MayMom), which has a more shadow angle. They also tend to slip off of the Medela convectors unless jammed on very tight. Overall, I'm not impressed, but they'll do the job in a pinch.

I ordered the "soft flanges" with the white ring. It does not make a good consistent seal. The silicone ring can trap air and milk, so once you lose the seal, trying to get it again feels like a lost cause. When you have the seal, it works great.I used this with the Medela Harmony manual pump, and it does fit, but you definitely need a bottle stand. The flange is very long and will cause the pump to tip over.

It’s a great idea but if you’re using a nursing bra then the silicone ring can come off when you’re taking them back out. That's my feedback.

These are more comfortable but I had to really hold them on good to get suction. Also milk got caught inside the soft piece and wouldn’t come out without taking it off so that was milk gone down the drain. These would be much better if it was all one piece like the medela ones are. Medela just doesn’t make them this small.

it fits right into my medela and works great. My only feedback is that the shape of the cone is "steeper" than than the medela sheilds and I think they would fit and seal even better if they weren't so steep, but they work great.
