Great for Dobinsons on the V8 4runner!

I hired a couple of O'Reillys spring compressors to compress the springs but they were too thick/tall to fit on the luggage rack. Bought, arrived the next day and works perfectly! Thanks!

I wish I had bought these years ago.

The best tool I have ever bought. The design relieves stress on the internal bolts so they don't bend like other compressors. The lower tread hooks fit between tight springs and these were the only spring compressors that could do the job I needed. I was very pleased.

Perfect for Tight Coils

I knew clearance was going to be tight after installing some non-original coils on my Frontier. I have used a different type of home use spring compressor in the past and while they would be fine for removing an old spring they would not be good for new springs. They worked like a champ and were no harder than the other style.

WORKS great for narrow springs Strut Springs

I wish I had bought this tool a long time ago. I rented a similar spring compression tool from my local auto parts store to replace struts until the tool became too big for the Honda Accord 97 front strut springs. This spring compression tool worked great! It's narrow and fits through tight gaps in the springs to reach where no other tool can. The price was great! Easy to use! THANKS!

Great for UTV/SXS springs

I bought new soft springs for my RZR. I used a "loner" tool from an auto parts store, struggled and struggled with that tool and failed. I threw in the towel and took the shocks to a repair shop and they installed them for $110. I had to change the springs again and tried this tool. WOW! Doesn't matter. Easy to use, good build quality. I'm not a mechanic and only have basic mechanical skills. This tool made the job easier. Highly recommended
