Description of πŸ”Œ 307M Fuse Buddy Mini Current Loop for ESI

Great accessory for any current probe or automotive scope. Just clamp your current probe over the loop to access the amperage draw through a fused circuit. Easy testing access; plugs right into fuse socket; no more hand made adapters. Testing range 0-30 amperes, do not exceed 30 amperes. Also handy for installers needing to monitor circuit amperage limits.

It would be a handy gadget, though.

This Fuse Buddy Loop fits my Fluke 80i-410 clamp on a current clamp. The problem is in the side fuse holder. The metal part wasn't molded properly into the plastic case, making it almost impossible to insert a fuse to check the amperage. Sent it in for exchange, let's see what happens.

Pros
  • Also useful for installers who need to control circuit current limits.

great tool for quickly measuring current draw

You can read the amperage with a multimeter through the fuse test terminal by setting the current (amperage) through the meter wires. You will blow a meter fuse). But this tool is mostly foolproof. Simply plug and play and insert the amplifier clip into the red wire ring. Take your reading and you're done. Then fix the problem if necessary. This tool is easy to use compared to the usual current testing method.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Finally! And it works!

Finally someone is making these devices instead of us trying to get a bunch of connectors, fuses and wires for auto lab testing. Just pull the fuse, use a current loop that fits the fuse socket, install the fuse you removed from the car on the side of the loop, plug the loop back into the fuse socket and test the device or the circuit. Good quality, good size, fast results and can not damage the car. Now all they have to do is make one to match the low profile mini fuse.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

These fuse buddies are GORGEOUS!

I work as a trained car mechanic. I am an ASE Master Tech with advanced certification. I bought this Fuse Buddy to use with the Snap-on Low Amp Clamp. With this Fuse Buddy I can hook it up to a fuse and then put a low amp clamp around the loop and diagnose the circuit. When I bought these I was about to diagnose a problem with the fuel pump. With the fuse buddy I didn't have to get under the car, I was able to easily diagnose with the amp clamp and fuse buddy. The best part is that when the…
