Works as advertised

I had a hard shell sun visor and hated it. It didn't fold well and kept getting in my way in my saddlebag. This sun visor folds up nicely and works better than my other one. I think it's because it sticks out longer. I can see better with it than with the other one. I would give five stars if my Zumo had a cutout for the power button.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not the best

Works well with GPS, finders and accessories

I use it on my Garmin 660 on my Harley. It's well attached. It covered the power button and part of the GPS antenna a bit, but not enough to cause any problems with them. It works most of the time, but like any screen, it's still hard to see when the sun is shining on the screen. like when the sun is behind me. It still works well in most conditions.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Protection

Good value for money, works as described

Ordered 2 of these to avoid sun glare on motorcycle GPS screens - they were easy to install and worked as required. The only thing I don't like is that the lampshade is a bit thinner than expected and the thin wire that is supposed to reinforce the shape of the lampshade sticks out at the ends after a few days of use. Otherwise we are satisfied with the product.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Only available in black

Surprisingly helpful. suitable for GPS, finders and accessories

Surprisingly, this is a really useful product. I wasn't sure, but I rolled the dice and tried. Provides anti-glare protection from most angles, except of course when hitting the screen directly. Oh, and as a side benefit, it makes detaching and attaching the GPS device to my built-in GPS mount that much easier! The included velcro was, at least in my case, of the highest quality and sturdy. I saw no attempt by the adhesive to separate from the velcro. Be sure to order the correct version for…

Works perfectly! on GPS, viewfinder and accessories

My Garmin Nuvi 1350t had a clip on the visor that always had to be adjusted in order to have maximum coverage and not obscure parts of the screen. Eventually the previous visor fell off and the clip broke when I removed the GPS module from the car. I found this visor (no clamps!), I measured the frame of my unit to make sure it gave good coverage and as you can see it's good enough. My only issue was that the visor covered the power button. My solution was to cut the velcro to expose the…

Thin and expensive

This visor is really overpriced for what you get. It appears to be flexible cardboard wrapped in vinyl. Something like a very thin version of the dividers found in a cheap camera bag. The attachment method is a very thin Velcro tape that is glued to the top and side edges of the device. As other reviews have pointed out, the velcro doesn't hold up well and doesn't feel like it can handle the wind you experience on a motorbike. I'm pretty sure I could make something that would work just as well…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Great little sight for your GPS!

This visor/shield looks like it's made with quality material and craftsmanship. It's great for shielding my GPS from direct sunlight so the map screen is more visible. It attaches with double velcro, making it easy to attach and detach to your GPS or suitcase. However, I will use my sewing skills to eventually sew a velcro strap onto my waterproof boot that will make my motorcycle boot "more waterproof" when fastened at the back. Zipper that keeps rain away from the seam. This also keeps the…
