I have been installing K&N Air Filters in all of my vehicles for over 15 years. I've never had to replace one and to clean I usually just hose it down with an adjustable garden nozzle, which takes about 2 minutes. I've noticed slightly better gas mileage on some models (ranging from 1-3mpg depending on the model).

Great fit. Went straight into my 2013 Murano with no problems. The packaging was a little wrinkled, but the goods were undamaged. I would highly recommend K&N for any application. Have I noticed an increase in performance or consumption? no no This is a Murano, not a race car. This is also just a filter, not a full CAI. I just hate buying filters every 6 months or a year and it easily negates the first year's cost.

I have a 2001 Nissan X Terra with a V6 automatic engine. Before installing K&N and Standard Oil. I just took it with me on a trip. The best MPG was 15 MPG Highway. I just drove at 75 mph and got 16.5 mpg. So it really did improve gas mileage as it was claimed. Not much, but with a travel of over 600 miles and 2.50 per gallon. Got this for my 2014 Nissan Murano. The fact that these filters are lifetime must be purchased separately. I've had friends who admire K&N products and they were right. Very easy to install and by witnesses for others, they are very easy to clean. The filters themselves claim to get a good 50,000 miles before they need cleaning. Most filters have a mileage of around 20,000 to 30,000 miles. They're a little pricey, but if you don't want to get rid of your car anytime soon then this is a great…

What's not to like about a cheap, genuine K&N product? It fit my car with no problems and it's K&N so you know its quality. As a nice note for men, K&N includes a sticker to place on the airbox stating that the filter is a K&N product and does not need to be replaced.
