Suitable for bodywork and trimmings

Great replacement for door handles. I suggest you buy a set of tamperproof hex bits with +proog&qid=1563736248&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spell) as my tamperproof hex-only screws. Otherwise, a pretty easy install if you know what you're doing and have the right tools.

Would have broken like factory

It matched the broken one he was replacing perfectly. Maybe I should give five stars but I had to remove the door panel a second time to "fit". This adjustment (inserting the washer into a slot that engages the latch bar) was most likely due to Ford's original weak factory design. The entire exterior door latch system seems flimsy, but this item is a viable replacement.

Ford Door Handle Body & Trim

So I bought this to fit my son's 2002 Ford Ranger. A simple truck, but it takes a lot of extra effort to fix something. This doorknob is no different. The first pen was made cheaply, this one is a little cheaper. You don't get screws with the block, so be prepared with 7mm screws (2). We had to cut out the rivets to replace the handle and bend the internals a bit to put it together. It was on the passenger door so I hope we don't have to replace it again any time soon. Long-term test - cheap alternative to Motorcraft

Simple installation is the reason for the 4 star rating. Installing on a 2001 Ford Ranger will require drilling out the rivets that hold the bike's original door handle in place. I've bought several of these and installed them on several rangers. They work well and are an alternative to OEM Ford parts. However, a few years later, on one of the trucks, the handle wobbles noticeably when the door is opened. It should be noted that the handle is still intact with no chips or cracks. Also, I've…

Broke after 6 months

Installed on a 2005 Ford Ranger. Looked a little flimsy but needed my door to work. Well it broke after 6 months. This is complete rubbish.
