Old car polish

Inexpensive product but outdated and difficult to get out of the tube. I don't know if the material will stick properly, only time will tell. I do not recommend this supplier, it is unethical to sell expired old materials that should probably be returned to the manufacturer or thrown away.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Rock hard, unusable

This product was unusable. It was hard as a rock so I couldn't use it and had to throw it away. I didn't send it back because it was a toxic product that was supposed to be sent in the mail. This product was also very expensive so it was one of the worst products I have ordered from Amazon. com. Please check it out on Amazon.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Be careful, it's really messy, although it does the job very well.

I used it myself to replace the window on our camper that broke somehow. I carefully cut out a piece of Plexiglas with a jigsaw, glued it in and then applied the glue with this glue. Wear gloves, this material is uncomfortable on your hands and will stain your clothes. However, this works very well.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Secret

Great car detailing product

Worked great came with tips cure fast needs to work fast and needs heavy duty caulking gun mine was 24 to 1 pressure normal caulking guns for silicone about 3 to 1 doesn't work nor needs to use two hands Pull out the urethane , as others have said, soak it in hot water or put it in the sun for about an hour until it works better

Ideal for fitting any car glass

Used to refit the Porsche 944 rear sunroof glass back into the aluminum frame. Also used 3M 1-Step Primer. A regular caulking gun worked well, although you'll need to practice your grip. Easy to use and has a fair running time, one tube was enough. I've worked with auto glass installers in stores for several years, but this is the first thing I've done personally. Not as bad as I thought.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some bugs

Worked like a champ in so many ways!

I bought this to fit a quarter glass on my car. No problem getting rid of my run-of-the-mill cartridge gun. It only took 2/3 of that so I covered the hose outlet (threaded part) and also covered the end of the plunger for later use. Why spend. since it is not cheap like me. After a few weeks I needed to patch up some cracks in the resin around my chimney so I used the rest for this job. No waste and I justified my money!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Minor issues

Used to reinforce engine mounts

This rating is specifically for those looking to use this polyurethane adhesive to reinforce engine/transmission mounts. It works and is strong, but as some of the other reviews have said, this stuff is VERY THICK and difficult to work with for this particular application. You definitely need a quality cartridge gun. In the future I will use other 3M products (like Window-Weld) with lower viscosity (this product says "medium" in the description, this one says "high").

Pros
  • Highly rated by reviewers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
