CLEARLY GREAT WATER - This filter cartridge reduces sediment, particulate, chlorine taste and odor, and parasitic protozoan cysts. SANITARY REPLACEMENT - Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design allows for fast and easy change-outs of this cartridge without having contact with the filter media. SQC design also means change-outs of this cartridge are simple - and don't require a wrench, just 1⁄4 turn. UNIVERSAL DESIGN - The universal system design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems. SIX MONTH FILTER LIFE - To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance, including replacement of the cartridge every six months (or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate, change in odor or taste occurs) is required. Filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality. NSF STANDARD 42 AND STANDARD 53 CERTIFIED - Tested and certified by one of the world's most respected independent certification organizations that helps protect the world's food, water, consumer products, and environment.

Installed on a flash drive

I put it in my motorhome. I replaced a discontinued model, but this new filter fit the old housing. Installation took about 3 minutes. Very satisfied although I have not used it yet as the motorhome is winterized.

The price corresponds to the taste.

Have one in the kitchen and wanted another in the bathroom but 3M released the same model with Carthage which is not interchangeable be careful. Sent back to the kitchen for the same model. Perfect and happy.

not for all types of taps

The connection is not connected to the hose but to the tap. My faucet hose cannot be detached - it came in one piece. I can connect her hose to my faucet. If your faucet hose is a one-piece item that cannot be discounted, then this is not for you. Waste my time trying to install it - get it back.

The connector is not connected to a hose but to a water tap. My faucet hose cannot be detached - it comes in one piece. So I can't connect her hose to my faucet. If your faucet hose is a one piece piece that cannot be discounted then it is not for you. Waste my time trying to install it - get it back.
