    Good control on curved surfaces

    Soft backing pad provides good control when sanding curved surfaces. The grinding material seems to be quite durable. "Ultra Fine" is a good general description of grit, but I wish it was judged like sandpaper. Note: The packaging says "super slim". I expect this product will be priced around 300-400 grains.

    Ideal for glassware, stainless steel ranges and sinks.

    I've been using them for the same glassware about once a month for years. Removes grease surprisingly well. Brand new drinking glasses; not a scratch on my glasses. The pad works very well on my Corningware Glass Top Oven. I also use it on my stainless steel sink; I go with a grain of metal.

    Now I understand why these things are so expensive.

    There are certain conditions where nothing else can match the efficiency of grinding. When sanding small parts or intricate parts I start at the outside edges and corners of the pad and trim them if they are less effective and nothing beats when sanding primer on automotive projects and throughout the job. A quick flush with an air hose and they're back to working like new in no time.
