Good product, mostly easy to work with

Surprisingly easy to work with. Although it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted, the product itself is good. Tried to make part of my wife's rear bumper. I didn't want to do the whole bumper, just the area that's prone to scratching when loading and unloading the car. Due to the fact that the bumper isn't quite straight, I had a hard time fitting it. The edges are the trickiest parts to stick on, I just put a piece of tape in a couple of places to secure where it wouldn't quite stick. Thisโ€ฆ

Definitely not for white color

The VVivid film says 3M on the background, but I don't think the quality is right. I have used both VVivid and real 3M film which I know to be trustworthy. And the difference is very noticeable on my white car. The image may not be too revealing, but you can see that the top third of the image is the bare hood. The middle third is VVivid film and the yellow is clearly visible (especially in real life). And the lower third of the picture is the front panel in front of the hood, with the original

This product will save your color!

The trick to a BIG, BIG setup is to use Johnson's baby shampoo and water. Mix 25% shampoo with 75% water for a nice soapy feel. Clean the surface where you want to apply this product. Dry it to make sure it's CLEAN! the cleaner the better. Then spray generously over the entire area and spray onto the fingers you will be using to remove the film from the backing. Then place the slide where you want it. Move around to make sure it's fully in place and has been thoroughly cleaned with soapy water.

Completion requires patience.

Once you get the hang of it, getting a good setup should be easy. Try to avoid difficult turns and tricky areas like headlights, tailgate openings to corners, etc. I was able to protect door handle recesses, inner door sills and flat inner sunroof openings. a rear flap to protect the top of the bumper cover from golf bags, suitcases and other light and heavy items that could be pulled over the top of the bumper cover during loading or unloading and could scratch the paintwork. I think everything should be ok. That's why I bought the 3M brand

Thicker than it looks on the roll. If you have never worked with it. Go online and watch some videos. Bubbles will drive you crazy. The video shows how to deal with it. This material is forgiving. If I wanted to attach it to complex curved surfaces, I could lift, cut and reattach it. I told a friend about it. He came over to see how I would use it. He forgot I did it the day before. He checked where I told him I was going to use it and until I pointed it out he didn't see that I had alreadyโ€ฆ
