Golf Cart Guard

I liked how easy it was to install. There were no instructions. Used on my new golf cart to protect golf shoes from hitting the body when getting in and out of the golf cart.

not easy install

it protects my new car from shoe scratches every time someone walks in - but it was impossible to apply without air bubbles - so it looks crappy but it does the job it is thick and durable even if it looks horrible, I followed the video to the T but it still didn't fit perfectly.

  • great design

Pain in. on Finishing

Installing this stuff was a nightmare. In the end I just gave up. No matter how you handle it, with or without gloves, if you touch the sticky side it will leave a visible mark. Then there are bubbles. Maybe the pros have a good way of installing it and making it look good, but the average person absolutely can't.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Upgradable

Invisible! A must for your new bike.

This thing is **invisible**. I smeared it all over the bike to protect it from scuffs and scratches. From two feet away I can't even tell it's on! Don't take my word for it - look at the picture. Seams are everywhere. Can you see her? Relatively easy to apply with enough patience and forward planning. Wipes off easily when covered in dirt/chain lube.

Easy to fit - almost invisible

I put it on a carbon MTB top tube. It protects against small scratches and flying rocks, but it does not protect against scratches when colliding with large rocks or the like. Then you better use a thicker tape like "Effetto Mariposa Shelter". It's really easy to apply and looks almost invisible. I first saw a YouTube video on how to do it. USE LOTS OF SOAPY WATER! You only need a few drops of soap in the water, but spray generously under the foil when applying.

Excellent material: Finish

Easy application. Make sure you have a paint wiper and a spray bottle with some dish soap mixed with Esther. Spray on the area to be covered and spray the foil with water and soapy water. Attach the liner and use a mop to remove the water from under the liner. Start in the middle and move forward. If there are still air bubbles, don't worry, you can use a hair dryer to remove small bubbles or apply the film in the sunlight. Bubbles will come out, so don't worry.

Lower Bumper Protector

I have used the film on the underside of the bumper on my Toyota Avalon to protect the painted bumper when driving in snow when parking in cleared lots. The combination of sand and ice on the snow scratches the bumper paint from the fog lights to the front wheel. The tape was easy to stretch and stick around the corner of the bumper. I used about 18 inches on each corner of the front bumper. There were small air bubbles, but a prick with a needle pushed them out. The app looks great.

Look for imperfections: Safety Guard

The product is good but after I laid out the template for my intended application (in front of my car's hood) and started cutting I noticed a small area of the leaf with severe creases and stretches which appear to be a manufacturing defect. They were strong enough that they couldn't be smoothed out when applied, so I had to cut half of the sheet to remove the affected area due to the cuts already made, so be careful and inspect the sheet carefully before cutting or apply. What I was able to…
