Classic Threads Coats and Clark

No complaints. This is a classic Coats and Clark thread. I haven't had any problems with breakage and it doesn't wear out when I work on my machine. Can't ask for much more

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Safety

I like this thread the most when sewing

Mainly used for hand sewing, buttoning, darning and hemming. I use grey, pink and lavender in my remodeling basket but sometimes black or white is needed. And we will, Revane was dead.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Big and thick

Thread NOT Coats and Clark

Thread shown with genuine Coats and Clark label. What you get is not made by Coates and Clark. They didn't even tamper with the label. The items for sale above are NOT what you will get. Those of us who have used Coats and Clark yarns for many years (62 years in my case) know the difference. However, the thread seems stronger than most brands in the store, which isn't saying much, but it's something. It's 100% polyester, so quilters should stay away from this yarn.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Crumpled

Reliable Brand. good for sewing

I've been using double thread for many years. I still love this product but I gave it four stars because the quality control hasn't been quite as it used to be in the last two years. I find flaws in the thread, those broken fibers and broken threads that don't go through the needle of my sewing machine well. On a 400 yard spool, I often have to cut the thread and rethread my machine about twice per spool because of thread errors that don't go through the needle or actual thread breaks where it…

Pros
  • Thread and floss
Cons
  • Can't remember
