Using 2 holders to remove a cast iron skillet from a 375* oven caused the pot holders to melt the interior fabric. I'm concerned about the integrity of it's ability to protect my hands now. I have not used them since.

I liked the product until their first wash, then I felt they looked as though I'd bought them at the dollar store on sale! The silver protective side was gone and the size shrunk considerably. Disappointed, but they still work. I'll go with a different set for my next purchase.

These are thick. You won't feel a bit of heat from them. They are also a good size, not the little tatty things you get in some places. I highly recommend these for anyone who cooks. Wash easily and seem to be wearing very well! Most cheap pot holders even get singed on the teflon fabric but these never have. I would say I would buy more but you get 4 and as well as they work they could possibly last generations!

The pot holders they replaced were MUCH thicker and somewhat smaller, which was better for my small (woman's) hands. But so far, I haven't had an accident / burn because they aren't as thick.

Was hoping for a thicker hot pad. Haven't had the guts to use one alone - always using two (double thick) to get something out of the oven. They look nice as pictured and are fine for holding any pot handle - but for getting something out of a hot oven - its not a confident thickness.

I like that these pot holders are thick enough to remove hot dishes from the oven and also use to set hot dishes on.They are large enough to wrap all the way around handles. I also like that they are insulate on one side. They were a good price and had multiple colors to choose from

I like that these are large and are highly heat resistant even on cast iron skillets. Have not had to wash them yet as most things just wipe off.

I gat the set of four. It's been six months, and the first two are in great shape. They have been stained and washed. I air dried then and they held their shape.

I was looking for the old-fashioned pot holder and this is it! I can throw them in the washing machine. They are great for grabbing the lids off the pots.I recently purchased some of the newer ones with the silicone and I returned those. These are just too bulky. If I wanted something that bulky, I would have ordered a 'mitt'.
