The colors are very pretty but the paper is very thin and unforgiving

I run an origami club after school and bought each member a pack of this paper. The colors are very nice, but the paper is very thin and unforgiving. Some of my students are newbies to origami, so they only learn how to fold. If they make a few folding mistakes, the paper becomes unusable and they have to use another sheet. I wish this paper was a little thicker, but you get what you pay for; cheap is really expensive!

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • No machine

Very good origami paper bag at extra cost

This was my second purchase of this item as the kids were quick to fold their first bag. Please note that the paper is not exactly square, it is 1-2mm longer on one side than the other. For casual origami practitioners, this shouldn't be a problem, but it's noticeable in some folding situations and can be a little frustrating. Also, there are lots of fun colors but few shades of gray, as pointed out by my daughter who wanted to make a gray crane to match her rainbow cranes. Each paper is…

Works but not best for paper and paper crafts

I got these to improve my origami skills which I haven't used in 50 years. That's why I wanted single-sided paper, the same color paper on both sides is too difficult to see. I have decorative paper but I wanted to improve my skills first. This paper is suitable for this, but I would not buy it again and recommend it. Although it is slightly thinner than other origami paper, it has an odd folding structure. It feels like plastic fibers are inside. It's much more difficult to get sharp corners…

It served my purpose well.

Cute Origami Paper Set! My daughters suddenly showed an interest in origami. Sometimes children's interests are very short-lived. So I didn't want to invest in super quality paper right away. But I also didn't want to end up with really bad quality paper that rips/tears easily. I almost missed this product when I saw its price as it was much cheaper than its competitors. So I assumed the quality would be compromised. But then I noticed that it has great reviews and decided to give it a try. I…

Nice colours, quality paper, worth the money

Pros: Wide range of colours, colors are very bright, good quality paper, comfortable and thin (wrinkles well, doesn't tear/crumple). I quickly made a lotus to test (pictured) and it folded easily and neatly with nice crisp folds. Cons: minus one star because some of the papers had imperfections (6/120) (3 in the photo). I don't mind as most of the imperfections were on the white side so they can still be used for models with no or a small white image or as practice paper. They were also placed…
