Burns out easily - my new review

I’ve had 2 of these burn out on my Voxlab Aquila. They’re way quieter, just don’t expect them to last longer than a month or so.

Pros
  • The small size of the fans allows for easy installation in a variety of positions, offering flexibility in their use
Cons
  • May not work with older printer models

Bought for a 3D printer

The noise level from stock dropped about 5 to 7 decibels using this fan. Not the easiest to install into a printer requiring you to cut into the stock wires and matching wire colors. Would recommend heat shrink and soldering.

Pros
  • I would give it a five if the attaching screws were included.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all 3D printers

Great Fans but will not last 35,000 hours

Great fans very quiet and efficient. However they will not last as long as they are advertised. In just four months I am on my third fan on the main board on my 3d Printer. The fan on the hot end of the extruder is still going strong and you can't beat the price for a cool looking fan.

Pros
  • The 5V RGB USB LED design adds a stylish flair to the fans, making them a great addition to any 3D printer setup
Cons
  • May not work well in dusty environments

Work great on my review.

These little fans work great for use in deadzone terrain. The ones that come with only one color of LED last longer than the ones that change color during operation. I don't know how to order one or the other. It seems random. However, all of the fans that I have purchased work great, even if powering with a 9V transistor battery.

Pros
  • Computer Components
Cons
  • May not work well with thick filaments

half failed in 6 months

I used these fans as replacements for the motherboard fan and the hotend fan on my Voxelab Aquila, and the hotend fan has lasted 6+months now and is still running, but I have gone through two of these fans on the motherboard in the 6 months i've had them installed. (I suspect it is because this fan alternates speed often, whereas the hotend one is just constantly on without stopping). Besides the failure rate these fans are bright, beautiful, and surprisingly quiet for the money. I just wish…

Pros
  • With a cooling capacity of up to 10 CFM, these fans are powerful enough to keep your 3D printer cool under heavy use
Cons
  • May not be as efficient as other cooling solutions

Quiet fans: my feedback

These fans are very quiet and the rgb are a cool little feature. They're just simple fans but worth the upgrade imo. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • The 4Pcs WINSINN 30Mm 5V RGB USB LED Colorful 3D Printer Micro Fan is a versatile device that can be used for a wide range of purposes
Cons
  • May be too loud for some users

Welcome to Funkytown!

Not too long ago in a fit of boredom I ordered up a Voxelab Aquila 3D printer. I have to say it is a pretty neat little gadget, printing up toy boats, clothes hangers, drink coasters and this awesome pencil caddy on my desk. The other neat thing I learned about these 3D printers is that you can upgrade them by printing replacement parts. Almost a "Rise of the Machines" thing. Not that I think that the Voxelab will become self-aware but you don't want to take chances. So one of the updates that…

Pros
  • The brushless design of the fans ensures a longer lifespan and more efficient operation
Cons
  • May require regular maintenance

Requires babysitting

Works most of the time, but prone to fits of making an awful grinding noise. I've had one decide it wanted to stop when a 3D print was nearly complete, flicked it kinda hard and it started back up.

Pros
  • The LED lighting on these fans can be controlled and customized for a unique and personalized look
Cons
  • May not perform well in humid environments

Great little fans! on my review.

Great value for these tiny but powerful fans. They do such a great job posting air in and out I only needed two to keep everything nice and chilly.

Pros
  • The multi-color RGB LED design of the fans adds a fun and colorful touch to any 3D printer setup
Cons
  • May be too bright for some users

Mainly for looks - my new review

I would like that they blew harder. I don't know if that's just the style of fan, but it doesn't cool as aggressively as the fan I was replacing. But they're glowy, so I'm happy

Pros
  • The fans feature a hydraulic bearing that ensures quiet and efficient operation, making them ideal for use in quiet environments
Cons
  • May not be able to handle extreme temperatures

Super awesome tiny RGB fans!

I'm building a wearable PC using a super tiny NUC and before I improved my power efficiency I was going to use these to cool the battery, but now I'm just cooling the NUC which mostly relied on passive cooling - not anymore! It used to get incredibly warm, but with these glowing wonders it's as cool as the room I walk around in.I have to get my ear within a few inches of them to hear them at all, and they definitely blow air. One of the cables was slightly loose out of the box but I cleaned it…

Pros
  • Great value, worked as expected. Strong enough for most small cooling uses.
Cons
  • May not cool the extruder evenly

Nice and quiet!: my feedback

Bought this fan to replace a small fan in the back of a car stereo. The fan size was an exact replacement, and it’s much quieter than the original!

Pros
  • The high cooling capacity of the fans ensures that your 3D printer remains cool during extended use sessions
Cons
  • May be prone to failure in high-stress conditions

2 of 4 fans bad good for me

I've been using these for 1 week and 2 of them are already loud as ***.Beware before you build them into a project you don't feel like tearing down in 1 week.My fault for going cheap.

Pros
  • Case Fans
Cons
  • May require additional wiring

I use a pair of these 24v Fans in Series to cool down a DC-DC inverter for a DIY OneWheel Charger. The fans operated flawlessly and the blue LEDs added the right amount of bling.

Pros
  • The fans are an essential accessory for anyone who wants to optimize the performance and lifespan of their 3D printer
Cons
  • May not be able to cool the hot end effectively

Noisy, garbage, just get a better fan

These squeak randomly, the leds are more obnoxious than I thought. I am switching backing to a noctua with buck converter.

Pros
  • These are awesome for projects! They are very quiet, and have very cool blue leds
Cons
  • May produce uneven air flow

Only lasted a few weeks

The fan is quiet but only lasted a few weeks and started making awful noises.Update: replaced second fan and it doesn't start unless you blow on it. These are garbage!

Pros
  • With a sleek and modern design, these fans are the perfect complement to any 3D printer setup
Cons
  • May not be able to handle continuous use
