Let me start with the Fire Navy version. The shorts are actually a darker navy blue than pictured. That is a good thing. I really like these 5.11 Tactical Shorts. I would give these shorts 5 stars if it weren't for two things. 1) These shorts are exactly the same as the 5.11 Tactical Pants (#74251) except the pants have 7 belt loops and the shorts only have 5 belt loops. Those two extra belt loops offer a better fit and support and I'm not sure why they were removed when the shorts were offered. 2) For some reason these shorts seem to shrink more than 5.11 tactical pants. I wash both shorts and pants in hot water
