Review on 🩳 5.11 Tactical Men's 9-Inch Work Shorts in Cotton Canvas Fabric with Action Waistband, 7 Pockets, Style 73285 by Kenneth Barnes

Let me start with the Fire Navy version. The shorts are actually a darker navy blue than pictured. That is a good thing. I bought these to replace a pair of the same shorts I had ruined and was hesitant to make this purchase as I didn't want a lighter color. Was glad to receive them and saw the color was the same as my old pair. I have several other brands/models of "tactical" shorts, but these are pretty much the only ones I wear for a number of reasons. One of them - the length - cut above the knee. I HATE the ones that go below the knee because they irritate the tops of my calves. I also like that the front pockets are deep enough to conceal a small .380 caliber pistol (or similar). Note on this - I also have this version in khaki, but my copy - even holstered - "prints" too much for my liking. The imprint is MUCH less obvious - almost imperceptible - with a fleet. I think that would also apply to black. I'll be getting a black one soon and maybe another one in Fire Navy while the other brands in my drawer are going to charity soon.
