You CAN be wrong if the cables are bad in design and performance, but these cables are EXCELLENT on every count! Their construction is top-notch, as is their performance. The plugs fit perfectly into the ports I've tried them with with no hesitation or slippage, and these are both USB-A and USB-C ports (and as you may know, USB-C ports be very picky).
